Having the Xiaomi Mi 9T touchless AMOLED screen is definitely the main feature of this phone and now is a good time to be proud of this feature. For its 9T, Xiaomi has chosen the same 6.39-inch screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 403 pixels per inch, but in this model, it has removed the camera notch. Looking at Xiaomi's past phones, this looks like the same panel used in the Mi Mix 3.
Interestingly, Xiaomi usually mentions that the old ones used on its phones were made by Samsung, but did not say anything about the Mi 9T. Xiaomi also has apps like AIDA that show the screen maker, for example Samsung, so if you are curious about this, check it out, you will see!
The screen of this phone is protected by Gorilla 5 reinforced glass. The phone we had for review (available in most markets) did not have a screen protector that is already installed on the phone by the factory, however we can not confirm that in all markets this phone comes without a factory protector .
Finally, the screen supports HDR10 and completely covers the DCI-P3 color space.
With a brightness of 450 nits, this display has great brightness for an old panel, which Xiaomi promised. If you set the panel brightness to auto mode, this brightness can reach 646 nits, which can be said to be in line with and even beyond Xiaomi's official promise of 620 nits.

Xiaomi offers three different contrast settings, each of which displays a specific color space. Auto Contrast completely covers the DCI-P3 color space, and we measured the average deltaE of 3.7. Only in this mode can you select the color saturation (default, warm, cool) and the average 3.7 DeltaE we measured is taken by default. By selecting the warm mode, we had a DeltaE average of 2.4 and a more accurate color display.

Normal (standard) contrast mode is compatible with sRGB, and we also recorded a deltaE average of 2.4 for color accuracy, which means that this contrast mode is excellent.
Finally, Increased contrast mode causes colors to pop up and not be displayed very accurately.
Battery life test
The Xiaomi Mi 9T uses a 4,000 mAh lithium-ion battery, which is about 20% larger than the 3300 mAh battery in the Mi 9. Xiaomi Mi 9T supports fast charging and comes with an 18 watt charger. This charger increases the battery charge from 0 to 45% in 30 minutes. It takes about 100 minutes to fully charge this battery.
Xiaomi Mi 9T has a high ranking in terms of endurance and battery life, with a record of 100 hours of durability and excellent scores. The screen time of this phone is excellent, so that in the test we did on the battery of this phone, in browsing the web pages and the Internet, this phone stayed on for about 11 and a half hours, and in the video playback test, it stayed on for more than 17 hours.
Battery performance in the Mi 9T was better than in the Mi 9, which probably means that the Snapdragon 730 modem outperformed the Snapdragon 855 in standby mode.

Speaker
The single speaker on the bottom of the Mi 9T has a very loud sound and shows a very good score in our speaker test. The sound output of this speaker is also very good, the sound is rich, but in the volume of the loud sound the quality decreases and this causes.

Sound quality
The Xiaomi Mi 9T had a much higher output and excellent resolution when connected to an external amplifier.
Our standard 32-ohm headphones fairly reduce volume (although still high enough), but increase stereo cross-talk significantly. We also recorded some distortions in writing. Overall, here we evaluate the sound performance of this phone very well, mostly because of the loudness, but not very impressive.
